To get us started, I thought it helpful to get us all to define/summarise (briefly!) what the gospel is. In my view, I think the categories of God, man, Christ, and response provide a useful framework for explaning the gospel. The biblical storyline of creation, fall, redemption, and new creation forms the backdrop. This shows us that the gospel has not only soteriological implications for the individual, but also cosmic implications as God works out his redemptive plan through his Son, Jesus Christ. (eugene)
